Kelly J. Mackay
Bio
Kelly J. Mackay concentrates her practice in business law, including related real estate matters. Kelly has over 27 years of legal experience that includes representing clients in the creation and maintenance of a multitude of different business entities, and the varied transactions associated with those entities. She has closed numerous tax-free exchanges and commercial real estate transactions with a keen eye for detail. Kelly also has experience in the areas of estate administration, guardianships, and foreclosures.
Kelly is the Past President of the 16th District of the North Carolina State Bar and Durham County Bar Association. Kelly currently serves on the Galloway Ridge Board of Directors. She has spent many years working with young people who have an interest in the law with the Law Day Committee. She has been an active contributor to the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce and has served as its Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kelly enjoys giving back to the community and has worked with numerous civic and charity groups over the years, including Hoops for Wake Forest, Kiwanis Club, American Business Women’s Association, and the Anthony J. Trentini Scholarship Foundation. Kelly has been recognized by the NC Pro Bono Honor Society for reporting more than 50 hours of pro bono legal services in 2017 and 2019.
